A new blog! A new website! I'm excited!
It's only taken me forever, but finally I have a new website - joodeebee.net - that's serving several purposes.
First, the home page includes links that will take you directly to my Etsy shop. I found it very hard to tell people how to get to my shop and now you just have to click one time.
I also designed the home page so that you can go directly to each section of my Etsy shop so you can get where you want to be faster.

Van Gogh - a Must Go
If the Immersive Van Gogh exhibit comes to a museum in your city or even close to where you live, do your best to go see it. My husband, Terry, and I got tickets to the exhibit while it was in Scottsdale a couple of months ago and neither of us have seen anything like it.
You step into a huge, dark room and are immediately surrounded by moody music and moving elements of Van Gogh's art. This is not an exhibit of his work framed and hanging on the wall. You truly feel immersed as images swirl around you morphing from one thing to the next.
Circles on the floor help keep people six feet apart, and here everyone wore a mask. There were only a couple of benches available - many people sat on the floor. But if you ask the museum staff for a chair, they'll get you one. A fun fact I wish I'd known on our way into the exhibit as opposed to on the way out! If you are a guy like my husband, or you have a guy like my husband, even the ever-changing surroundings won't keep your/his attention for the full 30 minute video loop. However, don't despair. You'll/he'll be fascinated by the 500,000 cubic feet of projection around the walls and on the floor. The technology behind the exhibit is about as fascinating as the exhibit itself.
On your way out you'll get to shop for masks, umbrellas, pencil cases, etc. etc. that feature Van Gogh's art. Clearly his work must be in the public domain because they've got it on everything.
We couldn't help but wonder what Van Gogh would think could he see it all.
